Who We Are

Heard’s Beauty Supply began 30 years ago as a home based business in the garage of the Heard’s residence.

That was the warehouse used to store the products James and Brenda Heard would spend weekends travelling the roads selling from shop to shop, trade show to trade show in the Ark-La-Tex area.

From there, Heard’s Beauty Supply grew into Shreveport, La’s premier black-owned beauty supplier retailer specializing professional, salon quality products created by black-owned manufacturers.

Now, it’s our goal to provide those same high quality products to the entire nation and abroad.
